Lino asked me whether I could take the order to make n A-line skirt. I wasn't very sure since I didn't have enough confidence in making clothes. I sew some of my own clothes, but making something for yourself and making for customer are different. When I made it for my self, I don't really mind if the result is not very neat. But when I made it for the customer, I have to make sure it is in a good quality.
After some consideration, I took the order. Lino delivered me a beautiful traditional woven fabric for the main material. It has a unique texture and pretty colours, combined with plain purple fabric this is the result:
One of the difficulty of sewing tradition fabric is that it get stretch quite easily, so it's a bit hard to make the line in the skirt symmetrical. I still have lots of things to learn :)
